I'm seriously considering changing the forums so they're ordered by when someone last posted a reply (rather than when they were initially posted).
Also, I am considering making those posts that have been added since you last looked show up as a different colour.
Since there is already a decent VOTD going, please gimme your thoughts here first. Once the current VOTD has ran it's course no doubt I will add this (and any other decent forum improvement suggestions) to it too.

I think highlighting the new posts that haven't been read is a good idea. I am not sure about the most recent replies, but that could work well too. I guess I am thinking with the highlighted forums you wouldn't need to have them be at the top so much. Not to mention most of the highly replied to posts are basically spam anyway.
